Background: The research project, conducted at Rutgers University under the guidance of Professor Steven Brechin, aims to shed light on the policies that affect transgender inmates in state-level prisons across the United States. Participation entails an interview with advocacy groups, like yours, to gain valuable insights and recommendations for policy reform.
