Research Opportunity

Hello, my name is Anna Pow and I am completing my Master of Social Work degree at California State University Northridge. I am researching the specific experiences of trans men and non-binary people who have been pregnant and given birth, and to explore if whether or not someone receives gender affirming peripartum healthcare affects their postpartum mental health. The implication of this study is that health care providers could be educated about the importance of providing gender affirming care and this research could be used to influence hospital policies to create structure for gender affirming care for all prenatal patients. The study consists of an anonymous online survey that has 31 questions and will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. If you meet the requirements, I would truly appreciate it if you would take the time to fill it out. Please spread the word to other people you know who are eligible for the study.
